    Not just fuel

Virtually ALL of Europes gas supply from Russia travels through Georgia- just when you thought it couldnt get any worse

The Ruskies thought they’d sneak in while everyone’s watching the opening ceremony.

So some residents of South Ossetia want independence – it’s part of Georgia, which used to be in the USSR. But now Russia has decided to get involved on the side of the South Ossetian separatists? Still following here?? What do they have to gain?

One reason the Russians want to get involved, they have been seen to accuse Georgia of hiding Chechen “terrorists”.

Sheesh… it’s not that long since we had the war in Chechnya – are the Ruskies bored?

Cant the Ruskies just count to 100 and say coming ready or not then go find em ?

(ok rip that statement to shreds, I’m tired, but in my head I know what I mean))

There is such a thing as condescending pricks though… enter Terence Stynes.

I thought it came through the Ukraine?

Georgia and Russia had an uneasy truce under the old Soviet banner, but…. traditionally have been sworn enemies. Seems to me they both want the same bit of land. Its the old.. hands off its mine.. no its mine….. let go of it you nasty bully, make me you rotter – Ok I will….. scenario.

I’m warming up to the Russians more and more by the day. I hear they’re becoming very nationalist and anti-Commie over there in Russia.

The Georgian’s are calling for a ceasefire, but the Russian’s are still bombing.
