well our fellow English folks won’t see issue with this as yet…. but we have the smokin ban inplace here….. inwhich normal day to day people are being issued fines for bein caught smoking in a banned area,,,, and quite rightly too, but now with firstly Mel Smith being photographed in the papers havin a fly puff of a cigar out the window, and wasn’t issued a fine, as good will jesture because of the fringe festivel…. now Keith Richards has been photographed smokin onto stage at Hampdon while preforming on stage…. the Glasgow council said.. the errected stage is not covered by the smoking ban…!!!! so he has been let off with it….
so its seems to me, its Joe soap the public who are being fined, but if your a somebody, lets have a good will jesture…. eh…
and now u can’t even smoke outside the pub, u have to move 100 meters away…!!! ill need to mind take a tape measure when goin out…
i still say, have a smoking pub, and non-smoking pubs… if u wish to work in a smoking pub u must have to be a smoker….. why the complete blanket ban….!!! baffles me… yes, where children, hospitals, etc a blanket ban….. but the ole booZer n clubs…. its madness….

its fantastic!! had all the non smokers complaining in the summer when it where a heatwave because we dared to smoke outside of the pub in the designated area! and they wanted to sit there instead! TOUGH!
and in the winter irs also good for us smokers as the landlord has purchased thm outdoor patio heaters!
he is busier than es ever been!!
felt sorry for the bloke who ran the lakes inn though! only an old bloke hes had to close down because of the smoking ban! his pub thrived on the older people of the area

its happened in a few pubs by me before the singer has started smoking on stage in a pub, nd the landlord has told him not to, so the singer has stopped his act, excuse being its part of the act you dont just pay to hear someone sing you pay to see an act and smoking is part of that act
like goind to see dean martin and telling him to wear jeans and a t shirt and no drinking or smoking please! just sing the songs
