Still superior to every one of Newcastle’s midfielders though mate. I think he’ll do a good job for us. 8)
HEY BAD U SHUD B ON CHANNEL 4 YA JOKES GET WORSE
HES SH1TE UD THINK U GOT A SUPERSTAR FFS HES 34
AND GOT THE PACE OV A SNAIL15 December, 2005 at 2:43 pm #171450It dosent matter if he’s 34. He’s a fit guy. Romario’s just finished top scorer in the Brazilian First Division at 39.
One look at the clubs who expressed an intrest in him tell’s it’s own story. Real Madrid, Juventus, Inter etc.
If he’s so shi.t name me one Newcastle midfielder who could lace his boots even at 34.
N’Zogbia? Bowyer? Solano? lol. =;15 December, 2005 at 3:03 pm #171451some times experiance counts for more, like i said, any team he went too would be a good signing
15 December, 2005 at 3:15 pm #171452There is a lot of gr8 up and coming talent in the Brazilian League. A lot of talent from there will find it’s way to the top clubs in Europe over the next year or so.
Keane could have went to La Liga or stayed in the Premiership, but he wants a new challenge.
Are u still kidding on u support Chelsea by the way Geoff? :lol:15 December, 2005 at 3:22 pm #171453@geoff wrote:

I see so it is hearsay and you don’t actually know he said this at all. Thats fair enough, I’d expect no less from you. It’s always a good ploy to build up a has been thats off to graze in the SPL.
Do u really think that Keano wouldent have held his place and the captaincy at Man U for the next few years if politics hadnt come into it?
Of course he would have, and Ferguson would have changed his team and system in order to accomidate Keane’s advancing years.
Hardly strikes me he’d do that for a has been. -
