Shane Meadows is a brilliant director of this genre/era..i KNEW ya must have seen it ! ..
sad film,especially the realisation at the end…I watched it 3 times knowing the “surprise” ending,and i got even more from it,,clever writing.and trancey directorial skills !

I cannot remember the ending… what happens? Dont worry about spoiling it as Ive said Ive seen it and will probably remember as soon as I watch it anyway.
erm,,i might spoil it for others :) remember the wee brother who was a bit “simple” ?? and how paddy consodine KILLS his tormentors,,until he gets to the last “tormentor!” and its all revealed …
