No, I’ve heard of Chopper but don’t know much about it. Or Romper Stomper for that matter and I’ve got loads of DVDs that I haven’t watched yet so probably won’t be buying anymore, don’t know if ‘older’ is the word, films for a while yet.
I was too young when Resevoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction and the like came out so while folk raved about them I missed out so I’m still catching up a bit and through watching them and some other older ones, it’ll spark my interest in something else so I’ve got quite a backlog!
23 January, 2008 at 12:42 am #305446I hated reservior dogs and pulp fiction went over my head and I fell asleep. I tried to watch it again, and again fell asleep.
Chopper is based on a true story about a complete psycho, but the guy who plays him in the movie really brings it alive. Its better than Romper Stomper so if you get the chance give it a go, you’d love it.
He has a massive following on the net (the real “Chopper”) and has also released a book in the last few years, though Im not even sure if he is still in prison or not.
Complete nutcase though
23 January, 2008 at 12:52 am #305447I’ve seen the book advertised online, infact that’s probably where I recognized it and it does look pretty good. Been tempted to order it a couple of times but keep deciding against it. Might take a look at it though cos it sounds good.
I had to watch Pulp Fiction twice cos it was pretty much all over the place, bit like Snatch & Lock, Stock and Two Smoking barrels but longer. Loved Resevoir Dogs but hated the video game on PS2. Actually I owe a lot to my PS2 – the game Scarface sparked my interest in the movie, same with Godfather (films I had heard good things about but didn’t know much of) They also reccomended other, similar films that again I had heard of but missed out on that I got cheap online.
Anyhoo, I’m off to bed now – got a long day ahead of me tomorrow. Don’t intend doing feck all but it’s gonna take all day to do it

He does say ‘MF’ and ‘Cockaroaches’ but can’t remember if he says it all in the one sentence. Can’t beat San Andreas for language though ‘Hey n**ger, f**k you n**ger’ That came as somewhat a surprise
