I may be Scottish, and I may be white… Im near 36…
and yet I do wonder aboout life in a differnet way…
when I walk down to school, shops, anywhere with the kids in the morning I see people, traffic… green belts…
what this thread is about… is this ethnic thing…. to me all people are the same…. there’s no difference in colour, creed and gender at the end of the day they are humans…
why can’t people get over seeing a chinese person as chinese instead of human as a white person, and same with blacks, whites, pa ki statnies, indians, aboriganes, chinese, japanesse…. bet ya i gee’in ya a rite laff way spelling lol….
as even with postings…. why is this race issue… arn’t at the end of the day HUMAN…??

I don’t care what colour you are as long as you contribute….. to come to this country and be givien benefits, houses because your country is war torn…. (why are the poles here :?: Weren’t the serbs and the kroats killing their own kind over religious beliefs :?: ) It’s another excuse to be given priority status as far as I’m concerned… and I’d happily push the button on most of the scumbags myself :shock: :P :wink:
I just wish to be treated in the same way I treat others Mary. Being Scottish and living down here (since I was fecking 3!!!) I got the digs all the way through school cos my name was the same as me uncle steve’s… it was Queenybum.
Even now I get little digs all the time.
What I hate is when Im at work, and have to phone another office, and I cant understand the person Im talking too.
I think if English based establishments are going to employ staff on telephones and in a customer based environment, they should be able to speak in the same language as those they are supposed to be serving.
Ive got the right ars/eache with my job at the mo and we are supposed to be goin on strike now. I think its the final nail in the coffin of this so called land that is the British Isles that we are supposed to love……..

Well I for one dont quite get what the point (assuming there is one) of this thread really is
Whats your definition of “same”? Would you give everyone pork for lunch even if some were muslim? Make all girls be educated even if their religion says they shouldnt be? Make them go swimming in a mixed pool?
Because by the very nature of various cultures people ARENT the same, and as such treating each other the same with no regard for colour or culture just isnt practical and is one “ideal” too far and doesnt have any real world application past earning politically correct brownie points really does it?
Infact you cant even treat all people within your own culture the same as even that will be diverse and varied, so trying to expand such a vaccuous ethos to varying cultures and races just doesnt float at all
In a nutshell if it wasnt for racism and the realisation of difference there wouldnt BE any other cultures and there would be no middle eastern asians or african blacks as they would have interbred each other out of existence thousands of years ago
