So at long last the long arm of the American criminal justice system has caught up with internationally acclaimed film director Roman Polanski…… after 30 years.
In case you missed the wall to wall Media reports over the last few days, he was arrested by Swiss police when he visited Switzerland to attend a film award ceremony last week.
His crimes??? Well in 1977 he was arrested and charged with having sexual intercourse with a 13 year old girl, as well as brutally sodomising her. He had got her alone, on the pretext of helping her with her proposed modelling career, got her drunk and fed her sedatives and when she was helpless ….. he raped and sodomised her.
No it isn’t speculation either, because although the charges against him were reduced as part of a ‘plea bargain’ he appeared in court and admitted his guilt to reduced charges of ‘unlawful sexual intercourse’.
However, before being sentenced for his (admitted) crimes against this young child, he fled the country and has remained in exils ever since.
Now we have the unedifying sight of ‘liberals’ and ‘luvvies’ all coming forward saying it was a long time ago, and he should be forgiven not persecuted etc etc.
So is Roman Polanski is the same class of paedophilia as say, Gary Glitter? Should he be let off raping and sodomising a child just because it was done 30 years ago?
Or should he be extradited back to the US and punished for his bestial acts against his (then) 13 year old victim?
Yes, but why now? He’s been in Switzerland and numerous other countries that can extradite for the last 30 years.
What did he direct by the way, anything good? :?yes he should pay for his crime if it was one of our daughters we would be up in arms and want him punished.
First hand exprience of Prison now, so Im sensing a prison movie from the romemeister after he gets out. Im sure it’ll be a classic.

His victim has served a life sentence and probably still does… it’s time he did too
