Is this a race thing or a religion thing?
Read on the BBC website the judge said the men had no respect for the girls because they weren’t part of the men’s community or religion. So if the girls had been part of the same community and religion the men would have respected them and not raped them?
What religion are these men? Anyone know?

All their names are Pakistani so if they follow religion they will be muslim….

They most likely are but the 7/7 bomber Jermaine Lyndsey was Jamaican which is predominantly Christain but he was a convert to Islam.
interesting points on race, Panda and Kenty, though religion and racial community are often identical. Will keep my eyes peeled fo this though.
Pepperpot, I have never looked at the Irish Independent so have no opinion on its quality. I try to keep an open mind on all posters here, even Telboy lol. Joker I had problems with.

All papers have their good points. I’m told the Mail has a good money page, and I know the Telegraph used to have very very detailed and ultra-sordid accounts of sex and murder trials to keep the colonels and matrons of Cheltenham horrified and salivating. The Sun is more accurate than Viz and the Daily Star – I think, but may be wrong. All like to keep the right-wing rumour mill going.
The Communist Morning Star had an extremely good racing page. In fact, certain leading Tory MPs were often seen getting copies of the Morning Star with pencils in hand, turning straight to the sports pages and rushing off to the bookies quick after trashng the paper. I kid you not – it was extremely good for racing. Don’t know whether the same old guy works for them still.
That’s the problem. Race and religious community are not identical. Closely linked perhaps but not identical. You can change your religion but you can’t change your race. Look at the wife of Jermaine Lyndsey.
