I put in another thread, that my mams car a wee clio, when we first got it 6yrs, to fill the tank it cost £35, now to fill the tank its £50..!

Anyways with my girls school, they are goin to ban cars droppin off in front of the school, and quite rightly so… When I went to school, ( long long time ago lol ) I had to walk 1.3 miles to train station, then train ride, then another good 15min walk the other side, now I know the mileage to the trainstation, as i was under the mileage 1.5 to get the school bus.
I never got taken to school by parents..! always walked and nevered moaned…

My kids both walk to nursery and school with mum always have.

I find we tend to molly coddle our kids these days to try and protect them, oh its too far etc..!! most people drop there kids off by car and it is convenice to THEM, bring back Walk to School…

Now the fuel, when i was in Australia there, it was cheap as chips for fuel, so why the hell when we have Oil offshore around us, do we get tax oot our ar5es..!!!

OH THATS RIGHT, TO GIVE THE MP’S A WAGE RISE….

What you really mean, you havn’t the intellectual stregnth to read a thousand words from someone who (not me folks) makes it their business to know the Oil business.

OR worse still, you think the collective JustChat membership hasn’t.

    If anyone’s interested, http://www.financialsense.com/editorials/engdahl/2008/0521.html

I did cut it down to a thousand words, for everyone’s time consuming benefit…

I’ve seen people drive to the shop that is a 5 minute walk away.

    its about choice
people died and still are in the name of democracy
stop whinging and get on with it

No it’s not about choice, it’s about laziness.

you actively watch people drive to the shop
or was it something you read in The Sun

I did do a brief, but the brief was too much for his small brain.

He thinks the brief was too much for your brain.

It’s gotten so expensive it looks like, for the first time in my adult working life, I’m going to have to give up work :( What with petrol going up and now costing me an extra tenner to get to work each week, and electricity and gas prices having gone through the roof, I’m finding it a struggle to keep my head above water…(maybe I should get out of the bath). I love working and living in a village in the middle of nowhere, It’s become my only real chance of getting out and chatting to other adults..I keep myself to myself in my neighbourhood..Learnt not to become too closely involved in neighbours a few years ago..
Maybe if they hiked up my wages as fast as they did every frigging commodity I need to keep going I wouldn’t be in this position
