I was actually really dissapointed ! as the acting skills in Corrie are usually brilliant,,it seemed hurried and not very well thought out. I admit Bill Tarney ( jack) is getting older now,but i thought it as a blase approach ! Whilst admitting the final Scene with the beloved Pidgeons WAS a wee bit moving.I expected much more for a celebrated character like Liz Dawn…
no one EVER did it like Hilda,,with Stan Ogdens glasses..now THAT was award winning !
