Scep you ranted about how ignorant and rude, scathing, people have treated Christians on this thread, including me I might add, its no secret there is no love lost between Ge and me , I like a post not as a like, more as an ‘agree’ to the point made. I don’t understand how we go from Hawkins to Ruskin and Merton ? I don’t understand when Ge doesn’t even reply to a post you’ve made singularly about him, you repeat same post ( in essence ) merton etc ? I don’t understand when Rudeboy IMO has probably been the most scathing person posting about religion ( no offence Rude ), he doesn’t upset you as much as Ge does ? It all seems very personal, and possibly with reason, but weren’t you the one saying ‘ stick to the topic ‘ ?
I don’t understand that someone so intelligent as you takes such offence at someone ‘liking’ a post, not all, I don’t like posts that I think are personally insulting and rude, but because someone likes a post doesn’t make them the enemy ….. basically I just don’t understand why the same old shyte is coming up over and over again ……

Look at it like this, and as Ge has also implied previously. Intelligent people become intelligent by listening, absorbing, considering, and processing differing views and opinions, through constructive positive dialogue. An intelligent person understands that it is necessary to make progress. What sceptical guy is showing, is the opposite.
hmmm…. not sure its that simple, I have to say I’ve had plenty of debate, disagreement and tiffs with Scep and he does have a SOH and can be very caring so ….. *shrugs *

I just don’t get why people feel the need to say, or indeed question, others and there own education ? it means very little in my mind. We all know an obnoxious dik head who thinks they should have a fabulous job and lifestyle based on the fact they scraped a 2:2 in sheep farming in outer Mongolia and are working as an accountant in a 2 bit firm. bluergggggg
