    Ge

There is no abuse in any of my posts, that is just your over sensitivity Sceptical, you’ve been doing this for donkeys years, long before I joined this site and countless people have pointed it out to you. You have mocked and insulted everyone on these two religion threads who have a differing opinion to yours. You type something then forget about a page later (deliberately or not)

You look for offense, you find it and then you personalize it. I suspect you do it to reinforce your own values.

People don’t type on these boards on serious topics, solely because of you.

Morgan should know. He’s highly educated and can quote Hawkin on God.

I humbly bow to your intellectual superiority, my quoting a few words of Stephen William Hawking CH CBE FRS FRSA couldn’t possibly compare to your inspirational fortitude, and the way you recite huge swathes of Luke, Mathew and Timothy whilst banging your head against the wall is sheer exemplary. I will be singing your praises like a nightingale.

    Are you into Iron Maiden?

https://io9.gizmodo.com/are-there-more-stars-than-grains-of-sand-on-the-earths-1471951896 Any explanations from the God squad as to why this is the case if man is so important or did God get bored and do it for the hell of it? The sooner people realise we are just meaningless collections of cosmic dust with no afterlife or purpose the better

    Maybe you’re right. maybe not.

You’re certainly convinced you’re right., and unlike some of the nasty jokers here you believe in what you’re saying.

I’ve met religious nuts usually Protestants, but also Catholics who haven’t woken up to the fact that their Church has changed in the past 60 years) who take every word in the Bible seriously. When I challenged them over certain things, they literally run away, as though confronted with Satan. I’m glad they run away, because I sometimes think they might kill me as they would kill Satan.

They are just as certain as you are. You’re convinced that anyone who doesn’t agree with you has a feeble brain; they’re convinced that anyone who disagrees with the Bible is an embodiment of the Devil.

You and I have great respect for science, rudeboy; at least you claim to. Science isn’t a religion. It’s a quest for knowledge of the physical world around us, and our cosmos. It requires an open mind, a questioning mind, not a mind which thinks everything is just bollox (I don’t think that’s you), or starts on the assumption that we’re all just cosmic dust. It questions continually.

In the 19th century many scientists were convinced materialists. That was thrown into question in the 20th century by …..scientists, both religious and atheist scientists.

Let’s see where their quest goes, and not just assume we know what they’re going to find.

No Sceptical, you do. You have done it all through these two threads. Had an angry outburst at most typing on the two.  You have just raged towards me merely because I liked a post  someone else wrote. You didn’t challenge them, you misquoted what they typed and then blamed me.

    Oh dear Sceptical.

    Science isn’t a religion

Define Religion, in this context please

    Christianity isn’t a religion either. It’s a con.

Oh, and an excuse to molest children

    tut tut

    Are you into Black Sabbath?

Anybody know how to use the quotation system on all the pages so that I can go through the two threads in more detail and quote Scepticals various insults and rudeness in context?

Is it really worth it? Haven’t you got anything better to do. No one will read it. No one read it first time, only you.
