ye see my love divine.. I can see your point of view.. I really can. But when the basics come down to common and garden politics..then I shall shout and roar. and No one might listen.. but I will never sell my conscience. When things are done on the cheap. I shall shout. When sprinklers and fire alarms did not work, I shall whine like a right cunt. and query things. I am a reet nosey auld cow.

Is that a question for me? I assume you’re referring to 9-11 and the World Trade Centre. I can gladly explain what happened there, but I think we both already know what “really” happened. Maybe you can start a new thread on that please.

So true and on target. Thinking something built so strong, existed for so so long can with stand any impact, Gone within minutes or few hours, and you do not have enough responders or helpers with equipment from your local area or surrounding areas to help before too late.

And if understanding correctly, the money people use to help support local fire stations displaced, never rebuilt and finding out later put in the pockets of the wrong people. That makes things worse.

the “wrong people” being the operative word.

    ELVIS-

Not going to even try to understand what is going on between you and RubyRed and get into that at all. Not in center of city when exactly happened, near to area which had impacts as well and the after effects.

If you were there at the time, then I am glad you too got out safe! Your other comment to reason know why….well sorry for this truth my tears are already flowing.. so you two take it out privately.

We constantly have things going on here the world out side of new york knows nothing about. I am tired of people constantly saying no fear, keep going, act normal. Very difficult when that stuck down your throat on a bi-weekly topic here. Sick of it! What happened to walking around look at things, enjoying them. Now you have to walk around be mindful to enjoy, cause you do not know what will happen next……..

lol,, sorry NOT nice,, yeah Elvis was involved and I live 14 miles away from him. Nothing at all between us as just 2 strangers, who may not converse, Enough to say Elvis has a great musical taste, with plenty of soul and hippity hoppity nonsense. u.k is soooo tiny we all talk the same. and want frothing ales, mead and we even tried a French fry.. poor Pierre..

pro rata,, Elvis lives at the other side of the country.. and I am away up here in Scotland where we eat deep fried mars bars, and wear kilts..

I cannot believe this ignorance :)
