This is an open discussion about the effects of bullying, not an example of HOW to bully someone.
You’re doing a pretty good job of intimidation but I’m not going to be drawn into scoring points with you on the subject.6 January, 2011 at 3:34 pm #458641@terry wrote:
I hate bullies but I seem to attract them for some reason.
Bullies are just demented thugs who don’t really have much to say, but will still tell you what a “pr1ck” you are. It’s happened to me. Usually their vocabulary is limited, but they still manage to get their message across to your friends and that’s the whole point – trying to make you look worthless in front of them.
Sometimes I wonder if they do it as a means of seeking approval from a group or clique
Pip and Lucky are two of the worst offenders that I know of. see what I mean?
6 January, 2011 at 3:48 pm #458642Very interesting thread ….. particularly as is mentioned ( of course) the term i use quite often here ….’ what goes round – comes round’.. You really surprise me Kent actually , you are talking as if you have never bullied anyone on here at all. Though i think the term ‘ bullied’ is bandied around too often , and not used in it’s correct term sometimes on here .
You , like me Kent , won’t take any shyte on here .. you seem to have clamed down of late , compared to some of the nasty things you have posted about people here in the past . I am well aware that some maybe think i am a bully , merely by putting little quotes on word of the day threads … and fighting my own corner, to that i will say Kent …… If the cap fits. But of course ,if it ‘ is picked up on’ then the word paranoid gets bought into it all over again. One of Your favourite sayings as well i believe Kent.
We can all say we have been so called ‘bullied’ on here , or in the room at some time . I think the problem lies in who likes who tbh … i really dislike some people on here . but at the end of the day i make no bones about it… they know who they are . and if by typing in ‘ what goes round – comes round’ is taken the wrong way . then so be it .. I would hardly call that bullying.
I would also like to say a while ago , a certain chatter on here was run ragged with the term ‘Boots card’ everytime she posted anything. Isn’t the context that was used in, a form of bullying?
Lastly, i would just like to say , as far as i’m concerned , there is only one Bully that i can see on these boards …. and you all know who i think that is .. again . i haven’t hidden the fact .
This of course, is only my opinion , and i have not posted this to cause trouble , before anyone thinks otherwise.

I almost shed a tear when I read your original post on the matter, but now I know who I am dealing with I will save my tears for those more deserving and crawl back into my hole.
I suggest you crawl back into yours as well, you fool nobody, least of all me.6 January, 2011 at 4:14 pm #458644It would appear this problem is widespread. . . Little wonder really when we see what type of behaviour the ” authorities ” give way to. :?

Been hearing about this all day on the radio Gaz….why actually was she dismissed? It’s reported it was because she went to the newspapers, or was it because she told the parents about what she saw?
6 January, 2011 at 4:39 pm #458646I don’t know Mrs Kent, the words freedom of expression are used so i assume the school dismissed her on these grounds. I haven’t looked closely at it but, knowing the non-sense cases brought before the judiciary nothing surprises me. :?

Was an employment tribuneral….not a judiciary. Strange how it’s not clear, yet been in the news all day. She witnessed a little girl being tied to the school playground railings then hit with a skipping rope. She told the parents of this 7 year old. She went to the papers (don’t know what for) then because of this she was sacked.
6 January, 2011 at 4:46 pm #458648I think it was because she did not follow what was deemed to be the proper procedures to inform parents of the bullying that she says happened. In other words she didnt follow procedures and put the schools reputation at risk.
Seems very peculiar to me
