Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely at Heaven’s gates in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and proclaiming, “Wow, what a ride!!!”
Well I think he definitely did the latter!
RIP Larry xx

Alas no, not sure whose it is as several people have been credited with it over the years.
My adapted version is:
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely at Heaven’s gates in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, chocolate in one hand, a glass of red wine in the other hand, and proclaiming, “Wooohoooo, what a ride!!!”24 November, 2012 at 8:39 pm #515925he looked pretty ill and old i think in the recent showing of dallas on ch5……..you have to remember he was in his 40s/50s when the first episodes of dallas were on our screens
i thought it was nice that linda gray was at his bedside at the end
24 November, 2012 at 8:46 pm #515926I remember him from the “I dream of Jeannie” tv series.

For good or for bad, we don’t make many like him anymore.
25 November, 2012 at 2:24 pm #515930Patrick Duffy who played Bobby Ewing has said of Larry… the very first meeting together on the set of Dallas they shook hands and he knew they would be best friends for life,,, which they were.
He went on to say it was one of the things that persuaded him about previous lives (he is a Buddhist)…. and he said he knows they will meet again in lives to come…… gosh made me cry
