However, isn’t it interesting that they both have at least one thing in common. The tabloid press (and media generally) absolutely slaughtered both of them when they were alive. Everything they did was criticised, commented on negatively and held up to public ridicule.

The moment Jade was diagnosed as being terminal (and Diana actually was dead) the media changed its tune dramatically and trumpeted in Diana’s case the “people’s princess” rubbish and in Jade’s case she became an icon for the ‘modern woman’. Neither, it now seems, can do no wrong.

At least Jade went down fighting for what she wanted for her family, and stuff the consequences. The other one was offski for a quick shag in Fontainbleu. I reckon that Jade got the better deal out of her demise.

rest in peace jade the mum to two young boys. i hope their fate is not left to those who want to live off jades notoriety.
i hope that her boys are allowed to grow up in peace and not in the glare of publicity that their mother embraced so eagerly.
