Peacefully and surrounded by her family,
Jade Goody died at her home last night.how heartbreaking must it be to watch your own daughter
slowly die in front of you, knowing there is nothing you can do to save her.everyone has their own opinions on this girl, but speaking as a mother
and a grandmother, i find it all too heartbreaking.RIP Jade Goody.

22 March, 2009 at 11:26 am #39374322 March, 2009 at 12:27 pm #393744I lost my Dad to cancer just over 5 weeks ago. I know the pain of seeing someone you love fade away infront of you, all too fresh. My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. No one should die at such a tender age. Despite her faults – which we have all witnessed, she was a mother, a wife and a daughter and I feel for them profoundly at having lost Jade today of all days.
Cancer is non discriminate. It does not care if you are a good or bad person, if you are old or young, black, white or sky blue pink with yellow dots. It is an evil and vicious illness. I have seen it ravage people I love.

Ineed Jade had faults as melody said
but i think she was daft , in the truly sweet sense
of the word and she made mistakes as lots of
people do , but her’s were most likely born from
ignorance than nastiness. She did attempt the London
marathon in 2002 for the N.S.P.C.C , its those kind of things
which are un-sung or never remembered that we should try to remember too.Is a time to reflect for many people at these kind
of sad times that bring a loss back to your mind and our thoughts
should be with those people too , bless you Mellz.I hope jades public battle and outgoing style will help other
people to be strong in the face of illness and sadness and
there has been a massive increase in screenings for cervical cancr too.
She has brought awareness to a form of illness that indeed has no
discrimination and for that i applaud her.Best wishes to anyone who has sadness or loss in their life
right now.22 March, 2009 at 2:54 pm #393746Rest In Peace !

RIP Jade xx The new people’s princess.
Oh come on Tinks …. let’s not equate Jade with the other demented attention seeker and all that “people’s princess” nonsense.
However, isn’t it interesting that they both have at least one thing in common. The tabloid press (and media generally) absolutely slaughtered both of them when they were alive. Everything they did was criticised, commented on negatively and held up to public ridicule.
The moment Jade was diagnosed as being terminal (and Diana actually was dead) the media changed its tune dramatically and trumpeted in Diana’s case the “people’s princess” rubbish and in Jade’s case she became an icon for the ‘modern woman’. Neither, it now seems, can do no wrong.
At least Jade went down fighting for what she wanted for her family, and stuff the consequences. The other one was offski for a quick shag in Fontainbleu. I reckon that Jade got the better deal out of her demise.
25 March, 2009 at 2:51 am #393750amazing ?? i think NOT. yes its very sad a young woman has died. and its terribly sad that 2 wee boys are without their mummy. I pray my curious prayers as an agnostic.
to me..” AMAZING ” is a phrase which we can ALL take part in .. the savin of a battered babies life, the sheer amazement in lifes simple pleasures. when folks become people.
NOT for the Sloany slapper that would not piss on a if ye were on Fire.. UNLESS there was a photographer present..
YES its sad.. my sister died the same age.. were there millions in a bank account?
some may argue she DID it for her Boys..and good..
their are millions of people suffering from sheer deprivation through terminal illness’s. who can barely afford to visit.
amazing ?? nah..
amazement to me.. is …
