Private Eye ?
Private Eye hasn’t come out yet. I should think they’ll carry quite a bit on the Liverpool Lassie who liked Thatcher.
The Eye is a paper I was hooked on for a while – a very public school sense of humour, though – blame Peter Cook (and ultimately the Evelyn Waugh of Decline and Fall) for that. It’ gets wearing – to me anyway. I always look out for the covers though – sometimes they are funny.
I loved the cover for 9/11 – headlines It’s Armageddon – it has Bush looking nervous as he’s told of the news, with the caption Ah’m a-geddin outa here
