    Thank you for sharing. Well done for looking out for your neighbour at a time when many would have simply been looking out for themselves. I cannot begin to imagine what it would have felt like to be caught up in the middle of that, and fortunately most of us will never experience it.

    Thanks. Even now, I get jumpy when I hear a loud noise outside, sirens in the distance, shouting from down the road. I’m sure it’ll pass but the downside to that is, of course, complacency slipping back in…

    I watched Panorama on bbc1 tonight and what a load of rubbish it was too……….half an hour of film footage thats been screened several times already over the last week………no new answers, no new nothing…….infact if thats how the bbc use our licence money then they need to seriously rethink this half hour programme.

    soz was a poor joke – my flat is in Balham and I know about looting n stabbing n shooting n stuff – obviously not quite to the same degree, but bad enough! so, I apologise to Master for trying to make it flippant! :oops:
