What does Richard Hammond and Elton John have in common?

he has always lived his life fast he owns motorbikes he has fast cars he was an open adrenalin junkie and loved being in the danger seat!

as much as i like richard (HAMSTER) hammond, and wish him a full recovery, and all the best to his wife and kids, i have to
agree with the above, we should not b shocked, he lived his life
to the full and exactly how he wanted to live it……..
in the fast lane… so to speak
i do feel for his wife and 2 children as they r suffering
and it sounds like his condition is improving :)correct me if i’m wrong……but i suspect both steve irwins and richard hammonds wifes knew exactly what thier passions in life were when they married them. i shouldnt think for one minute they expected them to get a boring desk job and play safe once they had kids. when i got married my hubby worked away all week.he was a steel erector…..working literally miles of the ground every day….taking his life in his hands everytime he walked across a tiny girder (with no safety net)… :roll: it was his job!.and he loved it. like me.f those 2 women had their hubbys under thier feet 24/7………they would probably be divorced now anyway!. :D
guess you could say the same about steve irwin.. ?
Hammond ‘making good progress’
Top Gear star Richard Hammond is making “good progress” as he continues to recover in hospital following his high-speed crash in a jet-powered dragster.If the TV presenter’s condition continues to improve he may be moved on to a general medical ward in the coming days, a spokesman for Leeds General Infirmary said.
On Friday, Hammond, 36, got to his feet and walked, just 30 hours after the crash, his co-presenter Jeremy Clarkson said.
Hammond is in a stable condition in hospital where friends and family have been keeping a bedside vigil following Wednesday’s accident at Elvington airfield, near York.

Seriously though, i’m glad he’s making a recovery, he’s a complete nutcase tho, (in a nice way) and he was an accident waiting to happen at the end of the day. I’d lay money he’ll do it again :wink:

Apparently the new series of Top Gear that was due to start on Oct 8th has been postponed (Boo!) but only until The Hamster can join them again (Yay!)
He is soooo gonna be the butt of Jeremy’s jokes!!! :lol:
