I dont think amy died over drugs.. I think it was more the case she stopped drinking too soon. I was lucky and stopped all of a sudden. I watched a pal die in agony over drink. she was like a wee tiny thing in her coffin. yellow with jaundice. which clashed with the peachy interior of a cheap coffin. such a bonny lassie when we were young
met a guy that beat her up.. taught her a lesson and made her damm scared !

I had on my house phone, the words ” fucvking helen”.. as i know she would whinge,and not really listen to me. I was the only bugger that talked to her at the End.

Now id love her to call me.. one more time. no matter what i did I would never have saved her though.

she gave me the thought to get liver checks etc.

I watched the tribute to Amy on the tv the other night.
I was amazed at what a chunky healthy young girl she was and even happy to see that in the past few months she was starting to gain weight and look healthier again. Then came the awful image of her trying to sing at the concert about 5 weeks ago abroad. It was tragic. Amazingly she looked well again only a couple of weeks ago…
I suppose it only takes one low moment.

It’s pleasing to see that her Dad is looking to make something good come out of this. It is also encouraging to see that the place he is talking about making is for the everyday Joe on the street with an addiction and not the rich and wealthy ones who can pay for it. I hope it works and people will support him in it and make it work.
Everyone deserves a second/third chance if they are willing to help themselves.
