The government is to consider allowing staff at young offenders institutions in England and Wales to use batons to control children as young as 15. Staff are currently allowed to use them only against those aged 18 and over but that policy is to be reviewed.

The Prison Officers Association says its members need more protection from a rising number of assaults and to help bring situations quickly under control

officers often suffer from injuries such as broken noses, compressed fractures of cheekbones, fractured eye sockets, ears being bitten off, pens being shoved through people’s faces and slashes.

Too right they should be able to use batons or something similar to keep the little bast.ards in line, just the same as the over 18’s. They got themselves into a young offenders institute in the first place, its only right they should be treated the same as other inmates if they choose to kick off while theyre in there.

if they dont want their spotty little faces caving in they shouldnt get caught burgling, smashing, robbing, car jacking, taking and selling drugs, etc. in other words if ya cant do the time dont do the crime. if their fekless parents think little jonny may get hurt then she can damn well keep an eye on him.
