am what I am
I am my own special creation
So come take a look
Give me the hook
Or the ovation
It’s my world
That I want to have a little pride
My world
And it’s not a place I have to hide in
Life’s not worth a dam
Till I can say
I am what I amI am what I am
I don’t want praise I don’t want pity
I bang my own drum
Some think it’s noise I think it’s pretty
And so what if I love each sparkle and each bangle
Why not see things from a different angle
Your life is a shame
Till you can shout out I am what I amI am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck
Sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
It’s one life and there’s no return and no deposit
One life so it’s time to open up your closet
Life’s not worth a dam till you can shout out
I am what I amI am what I am
I am what I am
And what I am needs no excuses
I deal my own deck sometimes the aces sometimes the deuces
It’s one life and there’s no return and no deposit
One life so it’s time to open up your closet
Life’s not worth a dam till you can shout out
I am what I amI am I am I am good
I am I am I am strong
I am I am I am worthy
I am I am I belongI am
I am
Who whoooo etc.
I amI am I am I am useful
I am I am I am true
I am I am somebody
I am as good as youYes I am

Dont speakYou and me
We used to be together
Every day together, alwaysI really feel that I’m losing my best friend
I can’t believe this could be the endIt looks as though you’re letting go
And if it’s real, well I don’t want to knowDon’t speak
I know just what you’re saying
So please stop explaining
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurts
Don’t speak
I know just what you’re thinking
I don’t need your reasons
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurtsOur memories they can be inviting
But some are altogether mighty frighteningAs we die, both you and I
With my head in my hands I sit and cryDon’t speak
I know just what you’re saying
So please stop explaining
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurts
No no no
Don’t speak
I know what you’re thinking
And I don’t need your reasons
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurtsIt’s all ending
Gotta stop pretending who we areYou and me
I can see us dying, are we?Don’t speak
I know just what you’re saying
So please stop explaining
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurts
No no
Don’t speak
I know what you’re thinking
And I don’t need your reasons
Don’t tell me ’cause it hurtsDon’t tell me ’cause it hurts
I know what you’re saying
So please stop explaining
Don’t speak, don’t speak, don’t speak, oh
I know just what you’re thinking
And I don’t need your reasonsI know you good, I know you good
I know you real good, ohLalalalala, lalalalala
Don’t! Don’t!Oh, oh
Hush, hush, darling – hush, hush, darling
Hush, hush – don’t tell me ’cause it hurts
Hush, hush, darling – hush, hush, darling
Hush, hush – don’t tell me ’cause it hurts
Oh
Hush, hush, darling – hush, hush, darling* A lullaby for the ones lost

No more blame I am destined to keep you sane
Gotta rescue the flame
Gotta rescue the flame in your heartNo more blood, I will be there for you my love
I will stand by your side
The world has forsaken my girlI should have seen it would be this way
I should have known from the start what she’s up to
When you have loved and you’ve lost someone
You know what it feels like to loseShe’s fading away
Away from this world
Drifting like a feather
She’s not like the other girls
She lives in the clouds
And talks to the birds
Hopeless little one
She’s not like the other girls I knowNo more shame, she has felt too much pain, in her life
In her mind she’s repeating the words
All the love you put out will return to youI should have seen it would be this way
I should have known from the start what she’s up to
When you have loved and you’ve lost someone
You know what it feels like to loseShe’s fading away
Away from this world
Drifting like a feather
She’s not like the other girls
She lives in the clouds
And talks to the birds
Hopeless little one
She’s not like the other girls I knowShe’s fading away
Away from this world
Drifting like a feather
She’s not like the other girls
She lives in the clouds
And talks to the birds
Hopeless little one

(Danny Whitten)
I can tell by your eyes that you’ve prob’bly been cryin’ forever,
and the stars in the sky don’t mean nothin’ to you, they’re a mirror.
I don’t want to talk about it, how you broke my heart.
If I stay here just a little bit longer,
If I stay here, won’t you listen to my heart, whoa, heart?If I stand all alone, will the shadow hide the color of my heart;
blue for the tears, black for the night’s fears.
The star in the sky don’t mean nothin’ to you, they’re a mirror.
I don’t want to talk about it, how you broke my heart.
If I stay here just a little bit longer,
if I stay here, won’t you listen to my heart, whoa, heart?
I don’t want to talk about it, how you broke this ol’ heart. If I stay here just a little bit longer,
if I stay here, won’t you listen to my heart, whoa, heart?
My heart, whoa, heart.4 June, 2007 at 7:38 pm #139416Billie Holiday › Good Morning Heartache (3:32) albums · lyrics
Good morning heartache
You old gloomy sight
Good morning heartache
Thought we said goodbye last night
I turned and tossed until it seems you heve gone
But here you are with the dawn
Wish I forget you, but youre here to stay
It seems I met you
When my love went away
Now everyday I stop Im saying to you
Good morning heartache whats newStop haunting me now
Cant shake you nohow
Just leave me alone
Ive got those monday blues
Straight to sunday blues
Good morning heartache
Here we go again
Good morning heartache
Youre the one
Who knows me well
Might as well get use to you hanging around
Good morning heartache

So lately, been wondering
Who will be there to take my place
When I’m gone you’ll need love to light the shadows on your face
If a greater wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Then between the sand and stone could you make it on your own.If I could, then I would
I’ll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low, I’ll go wherever you will goAnd maybe, I’ll find out
A way to make it back someday
To watch you, to guide you, through the darkest of your days
If a greater wave shall fall and fall upon us all
Well then I hope there’s someone out there
who can bring me back to youCHORUS
If I could, then I would
I’ll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low, I’ll go wherever you will goRunaway with my heart
Runaway with my hope
Runaway with my loveI know now, just quite how
My life and love might still go on
In your heart, in your mind I’ll stay with you for all of timeCHORUS
If I could, then I would
I’ll go wherever you will go
Way up high or down low, I’ll go wherever you will goIf I could turn back time
I’ll go wherever you will go
If I could make you mine
I’ll go wherever you will go
I’ll go wherever you will go23 June, 2007 at 8:13 pm #139418Artist: Linda Ronstadt and James Ingram
Song: Somewhere Out ThereSomewhere out there
Beneath the pale moonlight
Someone’s thinkin’ of me
And loving me tonight
Somewhere out there
Someone’s saying a prayer
That we’ll find one another
In that big somewhere out thereAnd, even though I know
How very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishin’
On the same bright star
And, when the night wind starts to sing
A lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we’re sleeping
Underneath the same big skySomewhere out there
If love can see us through
Then we’ll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come trueAnd, even though I know
How very far apart we are
It helps to think we might be wishin’
On the same bright star
And, when the night wind starts to sing
A lonesome lullaby
It helps to think we’re sleeping
Underneath the same big skySomewhere out there
If love can see us through (love can see us through)Then we’ll be together
Somewhere out there
Out where dreams come true28 June, 2007 at 3:47 pm #139419I close my eyes
And imagine you’re here
Did it all seem so hopeless
Given the chance
I would ask
Forgive me
I didn’t do a thing to make you stay
I didn’t say a word to make you stay
If I would have known
Could I have tried to make it easier
But I didn’t do a thing
Or say a word
One wordAnd I don’t know why you’re gone, now you’re gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you’re, you’re a star in heavenMy thoughts unsaid
Stuck in my head
And it all feels so useless
Never forget to give all I have
Forgive me
I couldn’t do a thing to make you stay
And I couldn’t say a word to make you stay
If I could have known
Could I have tried to make it easier
But I couldn’t do a thing
Or say a word
One wordAnd I don’t know why you’re gone, now you’re gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you’re, yeah you’re a star in heavenStill I don’t know why you’re gone, now you’re gone
No beautiful goodbye
You will never leave my mind
And it turns out to be so much different than our dreams
Now you’re, you’re a star in heaven
You’re a star in heaven now
You’re a star in heaven
Yeah you’re my starR. I. P.
1 July, 2007 at 9:54 pm #139420The Dangling Conversation
It’s a still life watercolour
Of a now late afternoon
As the sun shines through the curtain lace
And shadows wash the room
And we sit and drink our coffee
Couched in our indifference
Like shells upon the shore
You can hear the ocean roar
In the dangling conversation
And the superficial sighs
The borders of our livesAnd you read your Emily Dickinson
And I my Robert Frost
And we note our place with bookmarkers
That measure what we’ve lost
Like a poem poorly written
We are verses out of rhythm
Couplets out of rhyme
In syncopated time
And the dangling conversation
And the superficial sighs
Are the borders of our livesYes we speak of things that matter
With words that must be said
Can analysis be worthwhile?
Is the theatre really dead?
And how the room is softly faded
And I only kiss your shadow
I cannot feel your hand
You’re a stranger now unto me
Lost in the dangling conversation
And the superficial sighs
In the borders of our livesSimon and Garfunkel
3 July, 2007 at 7:10 pm #139421I’d just like to say that it took me forever to find out who sang this song. It’s been in my head for a week now! Finally, today was the day I found out the true artist. For some reason I thought Depeche Mode sang it  .
Recorded by “Love and Rockets”
Album: “Love and Rockets” – 1989I don’t know what colour your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you’re so, so long
And you don’t come from this townMy head is full of magic, baby
And I can share this with you
The feel I’m on a cross again, lately
But it’s nothing to do with youI’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so aliveThis drug makes me crazy
Makes me see you more clearly.
Oh, baby, now I can see you.
Wish I could stop,
Switch off the clock,
Make it all happen for you.I’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so aliveOOOOH
OOOOHDon’t know what colour your eyes are, baby
But your hair is long and brown
Your legs are strong, and you’re so, so long
And you don’t come from this townMy head is full of magic, baby
And I can share this with you
The feel I’m on top again, baby
That’s got everything to do with youI’m alive
Oh Oh, so alive
I’m alive
Oh Oh, so aliveAnd for those who’s never heard the song:
