yeah Di, I remember the awful stick Morrissey took for writing ‘Suffer Little Children’, with the tabloids fanning the flames and forever publishing that god-awful blonde mugshot of Hindley.

A very sensitive and moving song, performed by one who was a child living in the same area, and at the same time as those poor kids.

Personally,,,Morrisey isn’t to my taste. But,,,,,,If he took that awful stick for reminding people with his music, about what those two had done, then it has as much right to be here as the views do of everyone else here.

    including mine

I said that 3 pages ago smiley keep up. Just hurt him for the hell of it if he doesnt know so what

I should imagine that every hurt conceivable, barring the death he so obviously yearns for, has been visited on the man throughout his incarceration.
Does inflicting pain on another human being -regardless of how wicked he or she may be – not reduce the inflictor to the same level of depravity, if not more so?

What pains been inflicted on Brady? He’s spent his life serving a justful sentence for the horrendous crimes he commited.

    Exactly!!

Or are we to feel sympathetic because he’s now lying on his death bed, perhaps in pain. Many people die every day, some in the most excrutiating pain, having never harmed another human being in their entire lives. Do we hear it chapter and verse in the newspapers and TV news on a daily basis, no we dont!.

I hope he rots in hell

At which point have I said we should feel sympathy for Ian Brady? What he did was unimaginably wicked and he is paying for his crime in the manner deemed appropriate by the laws of this land.
That good and gentle people are suffering horrendous lives and appalling deaths is neither of my making nor choosing, nor am I a media tycoon with the power to instruct editorial content in newspaper or television.
I do however, detest the mindset of the professional lynch mob, eager to despoil oak and elm with the swinging corpses denied them by law. If killing is evil, then ALL killing is evil.
The contorted face of righteous indignation or vengeful fury is as ugly to me as the face of the killer.

Well personally i’m very happy that every conceivable hurt has landed in his lap, full square, for the entire time of his encarceration, he deserved nothing less!

I didn’t say it was your personal fault Esme with regard to the media hype that goes on, just that it does.

My own mindset isn’t one of despoiling oak and elm with a swinging corpse. I’m glad that he’s spent his life where he can do no further harm to others, i’m glad that she did too. What those two did was evil beyond belief. I do believe though, that it shouldn’t be so ”cushy” for them. Isn’t Ian Huntley now having to be called Mr Huntley!!! it’s bloody outrageous!! They should do time, and they should do hard time for thier crimes, not live in a life comfortable cell, with TV’s Computers, Computer Games, X-Boxes etc etc.

I still wish though, to the likes of Brady, Huntley, and their like, an eternal damnation in hell…..color]

Me to cas. I stand by what I said. I still say he knows where Keith is. The only “gain” he would get from keeping that info from Keiths mum is a sick twisted satisfaction. He enjoys twisting the knife and making her suffer. The same way he made Leslie Ann Downeys mother suffer unimaginable grief, when she was forced to listen to the tape recording Brady made of her 10 year old daughters screams, and pleas to be allowed to go home to her mummy. I sincerely hope that when he does die, he dies screaming like his victims. Bastard.

He will be gone soon, he hasnt long left.

And to be honest it wouldnt surprise me if there were hundreds of sheep and dogs and cats remains up there that he wasnt responsible for, he probably started out on them before moving on to innocent kids.

And to be honest if I was keith’s mum, Id be praying more for his death than to find my son’s remains. I would be happy that my son was not suffering anymore, and to be honest Id be a little upset at Brady’s death, to think he wont be suffering anymore either.

Lets hope she has some peace and enjoyment for the rest of her short life with us too.

Bat,,,,,I can’t think about the Lesley Ann Downey tape without it affecting my heart. Any mother would feel the same. They didn’t just kill thier victims, they tortured them, in the most horrendous way.

Children, what had those children done in their short lives, to deserve their end. Nothing, absolutely nothing.

The likes of Lord Longford, should have been incarcerated with them!! and anyone else who felt the need to defend them, say they’d changed, well her anyway,,,,,,so what!! All her bullsh@t about she didnt know what she was doing, boIIocks!! she knew and she enjoyed it,,,,,,,,sick, evil, bastads, pair of them.

I save my sympathy, for those who deserve it

I think any hope she has of laying to rest her son will vanish with his death. Brady’s death could cause her more anguish i think.

Aye cas I agree. That Lord Longford was bloody barmy. He campainged for Hindleys release for bloody years, saying she was a changed character and she,d “found God”. Found God my arse. The evil cow had probably been practising devil worship, never mind finding God.

Sharon I should think that Winnie Johnson wants to know where her son is buried so she can give him the decent burial he deserves, and not leave him on that bleak moor where he has been for over 40 years. It would have driven me insane by now.

Yes your right pete it probably will, because that evil piece of sewage will never tell her where Keith is.

Cas, you say that ‘any mother would feel the same’ when quite patently, that is not true. Many children, on a daily basis are brutalised and neglected by mothers who couldn’t care less whether or not their progeny live or die.
I am not a mother, but I AM a decent, just and sentient human being who feels the anguish of inflicted depravity and despair as fully as any other decent, just and sentient human being, and probably a lot more than many.
To continue harping on about children not deserving cruel deaths is stating the bleeding obvious. Point made.

The Moors murders were terrible, so was what happened to a little girl in Portugal and the family in Austria… and what about all those children whose bones are still being dug up in an old building on Jersey.

The outpourings of grief and outrage on this thread are simply pale reflections of the real thing.
