What if you truly believe both have it… I’ve noticed that nowadays it seems “Normal” or more acceptable for people who are in relationships to flirt with others via whatever means… I hear the term “flirting is harmless as long as it never goes anywhere” alot… maybe that’s just how it is these days?
22 March, 2010 at 12:04 am #435889I dont believe flirting is harmless thats just an excuse. I’m not saying anything major is wrong if someone flirts but why flirt if you’re getting everything you want from a relationship.
If you accept that because the other person keeps telling you “it means nothing it’s harmless” I think you’re kidding yourself and I think deep down you know it… (by you i dont mean you i mean a person any person)22 March, 2010 at 12:08 am #435890I used to think that too, why flirt if you are getting everything you want from a relationship.. but I have to disagree with the other part.
22 March, 2010 at 12:10 am #435891What other part ?

That part
22 March, 2010 at 12:15 am #435893ok now here is where i have to disagree, flirting can in a way be quite selfless as people like to be liked and admired so flirting with someone can make that person feel good about themselves as long as it is only that it can be a way of being charming nothing more.
22 March, 2010 at 12:16 am #435894So if someone was being told by their friends that their partner is a terrible flirt they’re always doing it they could just say “oh thats what they’re like it’s harmless” and not have any doubt

But what if the other person doesn’t agree/like their partner flirting yet they continue to do it after promising not to

Well yes obv you would get doubt, but what if you believed they mean no harm by it…. Someone once said to me “I have a flirty personality”… you cant change people’s personalities
