I always wanted to live in the French countryside with a French wife.
I just love the language. C’est bon, n’est pas?7 April, 2008 at 3:56 pm #324121I haven’t any regrets, regardless of the shit I have been through in my life. Life is for living, I live, shit is just part of it.! 8)

I just love the language. C’est bon, n’est pas?Indeed.. and that saunters perfectly into Non, Je Ne Regrette Rien
:P
Thanks to all for posting so far :) .. my personal take on it is that whilst I’d love to go through life sans regret and like many have just about convinced myself that such is the case  I do nevertheless get an odd blast from some alternative “what if” past :? .
A most disconcerting sensation to be sure.So.. such was the case this morning , when wallowing in my monday morning maudlins I decided to fire away with this thread!
Thankfully , the spiritual and metaphorical gloom has passed.. I wish could say the same for the weather that precipitated it :twisted:7 April, 2008 at 4:31 pm #324123@Sgt Pepper wrote:

7 April, 2008 at 4:38 pm #324126No, no regrets
No, we will have no regrets
As you leave, I can say
Love was king, but for only a dayNo, no regrets
No, let there be no regrets
Why explain
Why delay
Don’t go away
Simply call it a dayPleading moments we knew
I will set them apart
Ev’ry word, ev’ry sign
Will be burned in my heart
But no tears will be shed
There’ll be no one to blame
Let it always be said
We attempted what cameNo, no regrets
No, we will have no regrets
As you leave, I can say
Love was king, but for only a dayLife still goes on
Yes, even though love has gone
One last kiss
Shrug and sign
No Regrets even though it’s goodbye7 April, 2008 at 4:40 pm #324127@Sgt Pepper wrote:
