HI GUYS FEW CHATTERS WERE TALKING ABOUT THE REGISTERING OF CHATTERS NAMES IN ALL HONESTY WOULDN’T IT BE BETTER IF THE CHATTERS WOULD REGISTER THERE NAMES TO STOP THE CLONING AND THE ABUSIVE BEHAVIOUR OR SCROLLING.WHEN YOU THINK ABOUT IT JUST CHAT CANNOT RUN WITHOUT SOME SUPPORT SO TO HELP KEEP THIS SITE OPEN BY REGISTERING YOUR CHAT NAME WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA.MOST CHATTERS WOULD HATE TO SEE THIS CHAT ROOM CLOSE I FOR ONE WOULDN’T LIKE TO SEE IT CLOSE, THE BEST THING I DID WAS REGISTER MY NAME I DONT GET ANYONE CLONING ME,AND WHEN I NEED TO RE REGISTER I WILL RE DO IT TO SAVE THE OTHER CHATTERS SUFFERING THE ABUSE OR SCROLLING ETC ETC,AND TO KEEP JUST CHAT RUNNING FOR A LONG TIME, MOST HAVE US HAVE MET AND MADE GOOD FRIENDS ON HERE SO IT WOULD BE A SHAME TO LOSE ALL THAT ALL ITS GONNA TAKE IS 5 MINUTES OF YOUR TIME TO REGISTER AND FOR THOSE WHO ARE WORRIED ABOUT CARD DETAILS ITS VERY SAFE I DID IT AND NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS.AND THE DEAL ON REGISTERING IS 2 YRS FOR 9.99 WHICH IS REALLY GOOD I DID THIS AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH CLONERS SCROLLING OR ANYTHING IN MY NAME.
Why can’t they make chat the same as the boards?
For the boards, you have to register your board name then once it’s agreed, you can then only access the boards via your registered name and password. It stops clones. The same can easily be applied to chat.
Registering your name creates an income for the site.
Not sure I want to pay to register my name.
It could be counter productive. If you force people to register and pay then you could drive people away anyway.
Why not make registration free to try and maximise the number of customers. If you keep your existing clients, and attract more by being free and having a commitment to get rid of cloning and abuse the site will get more revenue as there would be more ppl to click through on the ads.
I have to register my name – not sure why!!! lol Anyway, I have been cloned with anc and a dot afterwards, which people don’t notice, because it isn’t noticeable because of the : afterwards! Just thought I would point that out! mwa mwa xxx

That illustrates my point. If ppl were forced to register a chat name with a valid email address it would be easier to ban them and keep them banned.
So your clone anc, once found out, could be banned on the email address they have used.
Sure, they could go and set up a new email address and try to clone you again but that takes time. I reckon after they’ve been banned a few times, they will soon get fed up of having to set up a new email address each time to register.
At the moment, if you get banned you can change your IP address or if you’re gagged you sign out and sign in again.
With the amount of names i have used over the years it would cost me a fortune Jadey :lol:

Yeah I see what you mean. However, we are dealing with a guy who has about 8 computers without a static IP! Also, it is the dot after anc – no need to register that and peeps don’t notice it.: see what I mean :?
