Brazil have just scored a goal which was a mile offside and probably denying Ghana the chance to proceed in the competition.

This isn’t the first refereeing co*ckup of this competition and probably won’t be the last.

With so much at stake for individual lands isn’t it high time we brought in video feed backs like they do in Rugby?

rugby to be honest is rather a dull sport, and the replays make it worse no doubt

refs are human, and i feel its all part of the game, maybe the answer is full time refs?

video replays will just turn a very fast game into an annoying one.. bad enough when somone goes down injured and you gotta wait 3 mins for him to get off the pitch

In this modern world it would take seconds to double check a refereeing decision. U can see for yourself how quickly and accurately replays are sent out on national television. It would only take a short radioed message to the referee to sort out any disputed decisions which would speed the game up instead of slowing things down as u wouldnt get 5 minutes of argueing by the aggrieved team.

There’s no way it denied Ghana the chance to progress. I felt Brazil could have moved up another few gears anytime they wanted to.
To be honest it would be a better spectacle seeing Brazil playing England in the semi’s than Brazil-Portugal.
