13 June, 2008 at 7:44 am #347050Dragon Recovery has their registered office in Cardiff and, according to their website, a fleet of 39 recovery vehicles which hardly makes them a nationwide breakdown service.
And why blaming men for your inability to check the fuel level in your motor vehicle before setting off on your journey?
As I keep saying, women shouldn’t be allowed to drive a self-propelled but stay at home, clean, wash, cook (well, heat up pre-cooked foodstuff) and be ready for when their master gets home after a hard days work.
13 June, 2008 at 8:58 am #347051The AA is better.
But like all women, they think all break down cover is the same, its not.
What you pay for is what you get.
You spend £35 on this and you get crap service, you spend £100 and you don’t.
I have use the AA a few times over the years, never let me down and always been there in under an hour.
Have the “homestart-relay-stay-mobile” pack, only cost me about £10 per month and pay it by direct debit, if I’m in any car or van that breaks down, they come and fix it and make sure I get home ok.
Remmber break down cover is like everything else, what you pay for is what you get, don’t cut corners on this or you will regrete it.
13 June, 2008 at 2:24 pm #347052Well to reply to your comments the RAC man took 5 minutes to get to us. Welldid not run out of diesel mibs the diagonstic check found the fuel pump had gone . The car ( 08 picasso exclusive) could not pull off. So I think you jibes about women drivers are uncalled for thank you :x :x :x
13 June, 2008 at 2:49 pm #347053We have used AA twice under our breakdown cover and I 100% recommend them. On both occasions they were quick and helpful.
Tell RAC where to shove it!
13 June, 2008 at 2:56 pm #347054Women should just stay in the kitchen, prob solved !

How naughty of the fuel pump to go without telling you.
I’m slightly confused, why were you waiting 5 hours in the car when the RAC man managed to get to you in 5 minutes? Was the scenery to pretty? And did you have a flask of tea with you? Make sure you always carry a flask of tea (or coffee) in case the fuel pump decides to make another runner. Or how about you take one of those big things next time you decide to go out, I think they are called buses. -
