I’ve just read Port Mortuary by Patricia Cornwell. I think it is her latest and not as good as others of hers, I have read. What do you think?
I stopped reading Patricia Cornwell some time ago…it was all getting too formalaic and I just found myself wanting to bash peoples heads together!
Yeah, I know what you mean. I am not going to bother with anymore of hers. It is a bit like the latest James Patterson books, especially when co-written. I have to say that I have only ever not finished a book, twice, and those two were his!!
Get the feeling that these authors have to speel out so many per however long, and it is a shame. :(
well…….. i’m slowly plodding my way throught a Joanna Trollope……..so slowly i could well give up…………why oh why did the woman feel the need to put so many 4/5 syllable words on one page is beyond me

I have just read The Road Home by Rose Tremain – absolutely brilliant, not a thriller and a bit Brick Lane’ish.
I’ve just finished ‘Room’! I couldn’t put it down. If anyone else gets it, persevere through the first quarter – it is worth it!
