And Rangers aren’t even BM’s team (if I remember rightly) Anyway, player by player matters not a jot to me – the best team don’t always win. The team that stick to the task at hand and drag their heels often do & there’s not many better than Rangers right now when it comes to grinding out a result.

I dare say a lot of teams we’ve played in this campaign are superior in terms of individuals, but that didn’t stop us getting a 0-0 at home to Barcelona, 3-0 (if I recall) away to Lyon & knocking out Bremen who were among my favourites to win the UEFA Cup when I saw the last 32.

A lot of teams were knocked out of the Champions League…again. That’s how the competition works, teams get knocked out then there’s an eventual winner. I’m assuming you already know that, just incase you think Rangers were the only ones.

I haven’t!!! Don’t know how the hell the Gers got that one but right now I couldn’t care less. Say what you want about boring football, negative tactics – doesn’t matter a jot now cos it’s been effective and that’s all that matters.

    :D :D

    Yeah.

An awful game to watch, but Rangers deserved to go through.

St Petersburg in the final. They humped Bayern 4-0. Must be half decent.

Should be a good one – meeting up with Ricksen and Advocaat again. I thought Fiorentina were unlucky, they had some good chances but Alexander didn’t actually have that much to do. Was stunned when Vieri missed from the spot, bet Ferguson’s a relieved man

Though the ref made some bad calls in the game. How come, if Mutu went down looking for a penalty and had a free kick given against him, Mutu wasn’t booked? How come a free kick was given against Novo in the dying seconds? There were a few others I couldn’t fathom, but Cousin deserved to walk. The guy made the most of it but it was still stupid on his part regardless.

I think they’ve every chance in the final, many times this season we’ve been outplayed by the better side but scraped a win.

I couldnt quite believe it when I saw that scoreline.

What Im worried about is that people will actually associate Rangers tactics with Scottish Football. At a time when our National Team is coming out of a long slumber people might look at Rangers and think that that’s how Scottish team’s play.
