I think emoticons and hahaha’s are superficial and only those that are a little tight up take it as insult. I actually believe on this site people use emoticons as a cover up for out and out abuse, it’s just a great excuse to be as moronic as they possibly can be and to goad those that reply to them without such need to use said emoticons. I prefer those that don’t find the need for acceptance. But each to their own Sharon, each to their own.

I never saw the joke sword.

My first reply was never a retaliation, but I feel you carried it on to be taken as one.

Yes I agree that smileys can be a mask, but correct punctuation should be used (not that I use it all the time), but where jokes are concerned I do.

Thing with you is I never know what your about at the time (not that Im overly concerned… no disrespect meant)*wink* so a bit of exclamation would not go amiss. Especially where a “joke” is meant. Rather than 10 replies later…….

You did manage an excalmation mark, but it was quite late then….. but never mind.

If only my old man werent a chelsea fan I would personally be hoping you get proper stuffed next week. *insert whatever emoticon you like*

had to do one  or two  or three 8)

I once started a thread here which challenged people not to use emoticons when making a post. The usual abusers (much the same as now) ruined it. But they were the ones that couldn’t manage to actually make a point without stating what and why they were doing it… too stupid. It is the realm of Just Chat to be as abusive as possible, Hoseason has cultivated it, so I could expect no less from testing people. Emoticons make no difference, and if people take it the wrong way that is their problem. Thats why I shrug off your ensuing accusations with no substance. I hope I am misunderstood forever. I like it that way.

I have very, very limited interest in Scottish football, but will ‘look’ for Celtic results, but I by no means ‘lord it up’ regarding them, I’ve always looked for Dundee scores to, but again it means nothing. I’m not quite sure what you mean about history. If I have a ‘second team’ it will be Brighton and Hove Albion due to their being my local pro club when younger.
