I’m kidding, they won’t get relegated. Won’t be for the lack of trying though

Davis in, Mendes in, Edu signed (apparently, even though a work permit needs to be secured) Bit of quality in the midfield does a lot of good, the defence isn’t that bad despite the fact that our right & left backs are both natrual central defenders.

I wouldn’t worry too much about that, hopefully a stronger midfield will create more chances.

Yeah, Rangers are stronger for it. Weaker positions have been strengthened.

Rangers arent in Europe this season so a half decent Centre Half to replace Ugly Betty for domestic games is all they needed.

I do think that if Rangers were in Europe they’d have to look at that area but as you said, they should be strong enough domestically. Bougherra looks good from what I’ve seen of him but Weir’s the only real option to partner him. Think Edu can play at the back as well though, losing Cuellar might just be the best thing to happen to Rangers for a long time cos we’ve lacked depth for far too long now.

But I honestly think that this puts more pressure on Smith, if that makes any sense. If things don’t start to click then his head’s really gonna be on the block.

Ah, the fickle world of the Old Firm
