The Islamic calendar is lunar and has 11 days less than our calendar. So Ramadan
changes every year by 11 days. It does indeed occur in July and August, and every

And thanks for the info Owen….. at a rough guess then, it would probably be best for our forces to sit tight for the next five years and then attack the extremists as they will be starving, thirsty and to lethargic to put up a counter attack… :D
