I loved it, but I didnt know what I was doing at first… I followed the directions… went to the lounge…. asked where the quiz was and was old to go to quiz room, so of I trotted! nobody there… only me and argy, then a few more came in, and I honestly thought we all met in there!

I didnt know that was my team, but they welcomed me and tied me up (which I loved) and made me stay, and I really enjoyed it!

The radio was brilliant, some good oldies being played.

Rubes was sooooo funny getting told of for saying ar/se!!!!!

And Cath was all calm and nice (as you’d expect)!

Esme…. coming in our room for a nosy round before kick off creased me up…. this really is war!

I shall be in for the next one hopefully and try to answer more than one question this time!

    thanks everybody x

So sian thinks a computer a 2.00 gigahertz AMD Sempron with 256mb of ram is ok?

    Hmmm…..

Most people run computers with a min of 500mb of ram. You can’t buy a computer with less than 1GB (1000MB) of ram now.

Its under power to the point where its too slow to use !!!!!

mine has 4GB of ram on it.

No Sian doesn’t think that it’s the dog rollox but Sian has no problem with her PC and it isn’t much better than Bons, DOA keep your britchers on, I can’t stand the smell of plummers mate

One of the biggest problems we all face on here is people with low powered computers.

Computers are not like tv’s or washing machines, they can work for years but need replacing due to the web and new programs.

I know you all feel that any working computer is ok for the internet, but you’re all wrong.

There is a min requirement for web, your broadband provider does tell you this.

But for the looons like sian, if your computer is over 5 years old, its only good for the bin.

Don’t buy cheap computers, they will cost you more in the long run.

Look at the chip, look at the ram, look at the hard drive and don’t buy laptops if you’re on a budget !!!!

I don’t even know what chip, ram and hard drive are

Memory — “How the processor stores and uses immediate data”

When you use a program, the computer loads a portion of the program from the hard drive to the much faster memory (RAM). When you “save” your work or quit the program, the data gets written back to the hard drive.

Microprocessors — “The brain of the computer”

PCs primarily use microprocessors (sometimes called the chip) manufactured by Intel/AMD. The older versions include the Celeron Processor,AMD Athlon X2/ Intel Pentium Dual Core and now Intel Core 2 Quad /AMD Phenom x4 Core Processor

Megahertz (MHz) is the internal processor speed in which computer instructions are performed. The MHz speed does not always indicate the power of the microprocessor. Newer processors can execute more instructions at the same or slower MHz. For example, an Pentium Dual Core is less powerful than a Intel Core 2 Quad (but the MHz is “faster”).

Storage Devices — “How it saves data and programs”

Hard disk drives are an internal, higher capacity drive which also stores the operating system which runs when you power on the computer.
