As far as I know this was all sorted out, with a compromise being reached. Why wait till it after it was sorted out to pull out, and post a locked thread so no one can comment?
You cant really blame certain people for not being happy about your involvement after you betrayed your loyal users and banned them.
Bad it’s UK’s site why shouldn’t they be involved in the quiz just because there was some disgruntlement on these boards their involvement with the quiz was announced on these very boards before this all kicked off nothing was said then !!! and has got out of hand and i for one think its a shame that they have been forced for the good of the other quizzers to take this decision.
And i use both sites so im not being biasedI will now set the record straight on this Xmas Quiz i spoke to pats last night and yes we did come to a agrement that PB and UK would phone in and not advertise JC on the night which seemed to be the main problem. ( UK and PB did not know i had spoken to pats as myself and GM do the radio quiz and i spoke to pats because i wanted all this moaning to stop and so did pats)
But as i keep telling people UK and PB did not ask to do the quiz I ASKED THEM there was no gate…crashing or jumping on bandwagons as people have said and i for one was pleased when they said they would do the phone in and so were a lot of members at the time.
We use JC chat rooms to do this quiz from and no one moans about that fact UK has not stopped the quiz as he said he hopes it carrys on, this quiz was started to bring back some fun to the rooms and it has i for one was pleased it was doing so well then all this started up which i find really sad.
This xmas quiz will go ahead as planned on the 16th of december and hopefully we will raise some money for a very needy cause so now its not about who said what and who did what its about a CHARITY if you do not want to take part in this quiz please feel free to PM me in the room on monday or wedensday evenings and i will remove your name.
I will not be asking people please stay and trying to keep the peace as i would normally do because to be honest ive had enough so can people stop blaming UK and PB over this quiz I AM THE ONE WHO RUNS IT so if you have a problem come and speak to me.
I hope we all turn up and enjoy this night as planned

I totally agree CL. I’m sad to hear that UK and PB won’t be phoning in for the xmas quiz but I do understand why. The one good thing is that the xmas quiz will still go ahead. I didn’t know until tonight that we would be raising money for charity though, so that makes me even more happy that it will go ahead. Those that have tried to ruin this forthcoming special night should hang their heads in shame!!! As far as I’m concerned JC has never been advertised on 7waves, the only reason it gets a mention is to let folks who want to partake in the quiz join in. Anyway, I hope all those involved in the radio quizzes will join me in thanking CL, GM, Aaron and Dan for all the hard work they have put in to keep this going and I implore all of the quiz contestants to get on your knees and plead with UK and PB to reconsider. Let not the sad few spoil it for the rest of us!!!
