someon i knew years ago had her 6 year old son coming home from school night after night going on about his new best freind Jimmy…….
He begged his mum to let him invite Jimmy round one day after school and in the end she said she would see Jimmys mum outside the school gate that day and arrange something….the kids piled out of school…….in the middle of the hoards of kids (all ‘white’) was a young black 6 year old……….her son tugged and pulled on her hand begging her to hurry and shouting ………’thats Jimmy!!!! the one in the blue jumper!!! Jimmy? was the only black boy in the crowd xx
