Just me not that bothered then I simply don’t get the celeb death grief thing

stone cold heart? music never touched you or brought back a memory? glad I’m not like that

I am not sure the two equate. I don’t feel grief over celebrity deaths either. I love music, it plays a large part in my life but when some of the great names have died this year along with other years I feel for their families grief, but I don’t myself grieve. This doesn’t make my heart stone, I have felt deep grief for lost family members and can’t link that feeling to someone I have never met however much I like their music. Each to their own I think the phrase is. :good:

Who’s grieving all we said that it was a huge shame … bit of a shocker & yet another music loss in 2016. … ?

    Which it is.

    I never liked his music.

I’m sorry for his family’s loss, sorry Mr Michael died so young.

I’m sorry for anybody who dies young, and for their family – I liked Pixie’s post on this..

With the death of Peter Sarstedt, writer of that horrible song Where Do You Go To, My Lovely, 2017 looks set to be another record year (pun not intended) for RIP to celebs of the past.

I feel sorry for Mr Sarstedt’s family  B-)

Grief comes in all forms and strengths, so personally I don’t think there’s anything wrong in people saying they are grieving. Each to their own.
