I am not going to allow some users to destroy something that myself and GM have worked so hard to put together. I was so dissapointed last night with the carry on after the quiz. If you are using the quiz for a battlefield then please do not come in again i only want the people who want to have a good time like we used to.
I want everyone there to enjoy themselves and not to have to read the abuse that was thrown last night. Everyone is welcome to take part in the quiz old and new users will be made to feel welcome by me but i will not sit back and watch people throwing abuse at each other.

I didnt bother going
I used to love the banter even though I had problems getting to hear the radio and I had the slowest computer put on this earth.
The craic was great and you really wanted to support ‘your’ team
Afterwards we would all get together and have a good laugh
I did’nt like keep changing the teams though
you really got behind ‘your’ team
but certain people have spoiled it
we need a re think

You should apply for a job at United NationsI share ForumHosCL’s disappointment at the behaviour recently displayed by a small minority of Forum 3 users – particularly after the Radio Quiz is over.
The fact is that everybody is welcome to join in and share in the fun and enjoyment. The rivalry between the teams is a healthy thing – provided it doesn’t get out of hand. It must be remembered that it is only a Quiz. Sometimes you win and sometimes you don’t.
The person brave enough (or stupid enough) to phone in for their team is simply calling out the TEAM’s answers. If it is a wrong answer then so be it, the TEAM loses a point and blame should not be attached to the caller-in.
For those who have some sort of personal grievance against another chatter, please don’t use JustChat’s facilities to air your bad feelings – do it elsewhere. We are not here to provide a battleground for the continuation of vendettas.
If you really feel that you can’t wait, then at least have the common decency to do it in PM and not in the rooms where the rest of the chatters can see it. Nobody else is interested in private wars, they just want to enjoy the Quiz and the ‘atmosphere’ and have a good time.
Forum 3 Quizzes are not the place for personal attacks or nasty spiteful comments and any future incidents, such as those that have happened recently, may result in chatters being booted.
It has been said an re-said that the quiz rooms are not for personal grievances. I am sick of it. The rows were not about who won or who didnt …..
And im also sick of inueundoes that just because the captains are new they arent able to do as good a job as previous ones….the teams were changed deal with it ……
I was happy in Poets team I didnt ask to be captain i was nominated and voted for…. infact i asked not to be put forward. As far as i am concerned the team has done well and thats just what it is ….a team effort and i am proud of my members during the quiz. The teams are not just one person they are not just the people who wish to row afterwards….. they are bigger than that ….
The after quiz fighting has nothing to do with how well a team did or didnt do. It has nothing to do with who won or who didnt win. The majority know what the rowing is about but i dont see why it should reflect on my ability to be able to captain a team ….
I have sat through this twice now i dont know if i am prepared to sit through it again.

Fortunately my talk to Argyll on Parrots in the other quiz room and my unsociable going straight to bed the time before, meant i knew very little abt what all this was lol , i popped into it to say well done and there seemed to be a heated team discussion so i left, i didnt want to leave but it was uncomfortable so i did.
They captains are irrelevant pats and poet did a great job and chess and yoda are too and its nice for different ppl to be given the opportunity rather than the same old faces so i for one am glad of the changes, and im sure many more in the future will help keep it fresh, and please please stop the fighting whoever it is for whatever reason (im not interested in details ) and lets all get back to how it was and the fun it was, who wins and who loses is irrelevant its the fun factor that matters, so let this storm in a teacup dissipate as soon as possible, as they always do anyway. now who wants tongues :lol:I is available for hen nights barmitzvahs and radio quizzes [-(

Breathes a sigh of relief as it all went well tonight. This was the closest one so far under the new Captains, was good to have Rubes back and PP one played a blinder. Wd Chess Mon capitan, CL (hell she’s a smartie) and the rest of the team. =D>
