Just for the avoidance of doubt – we are deleting posts that are ”abusive” as soon as they are seen. If we miss one and as a result a whole thread becomes one long chain of abuse then the whole thread will get deleted.
I repeat, this will apply equally to all users, there will be no favouritism. We have a new look site, fresh paint etc etc so now is the time to start over and forget all those old fights and tired old insults of the past.
This is what the overwhelming majority of JustChat users want, so lets just settle down and enjoy ourselves. This site is nothing more that a bit of ‘phpBB’ software on a server. It is only what all of you, the users, make of it.
If you feel that the topics or posts aren’t all that interesting then do something about it by posting stuff that IS interesting.
Sure let’s all argue, debate, banter, gosssip and so on but above all let’s all do it without resorting to name calling and personal insults.

Self abuse does not count Mr A – but then I gather that you’re quite experienced in that area???
Seems that a lot of the threads that have been deleted have been light hearted banter.
To be honest most of the fight threads in the past have been the most interesting threads.
Id hate to see it come to a point where user’s are getting warning for what Forumhosts or Chatguides deem in their minds to be offensive.@forumhostpb wrote:

What day are you getting round to doing the Polls pages PB or are Kate’s namecalling and personal insult threads not considered abusive enough? I agree with this new policy btw (long overdue!): I used to cringe at some of the stuff you used to leave on there – I just hope things don’t get too draconian round these parts!
A sell out to the Prawn Sandwich Brigade. Let’s all sit around and have a game of bridge with some nice polite chit-chat thrown in.
