Curled up in bed to try and finish the book I am reading- Michael Connelly The Brass Verdict. switch the phone , mobile, bleeper off. That would be my ideal day.
Do you talk to yourself ?
24 August, 2009 at 12:15 pm #148883Frequently or it sure feels like it.
You find £50 in the street. There is no one around, what would you do keep it or hand it in to the police?
26 August, 2009 at 9:08 am #148884Neither . . couldn’t keep it my conscience wouldn’t allow it. Verymuch doubt anyone would report losing some money in the street to police assuming anyone that found it would keep it! I’d hand it in to the next charity box I saw :)
Would you intervene if you were witness to aggravation or would you look the other way ?
26 August, 2009 at 9:43 am #148885I would intervene in the form of calling the police…in this day and age even if you want to intervene physically its not a good idea..one of the people involved in the fight may have a knife etc and how many times have we heard a “hero” died trying to help somone…i have 3 kids and a husband my duty is to them I wouldn’t put myself at risk …sad but true
have you ever gone into and looked at somthing in a shop knowing full well you cant afford it but pretended its within you means
26 August, 2009 at 9:51 am #148886Yes, and I’ve tried on lots of designer gowns that I could never afford and wouldn’t go anywhere to wear them…almost succumbed and bought one though, very slinky and sexy, with a v-back with a diamante zip that went right the way down to….ahem, yes, well I’ll leave the rest to your imagination!
Have you ever told someone that something they’d bought and loved looked great on them when it really looked hideous? Then hoped they’d never wear it when they were out with you?
26 August, 2009 at 10:12 am #148887when my mums bought me somthing i always say its lovely  even if i don’t like it and pretend i wear it alot just coinsidently when she’s not with me…but if my hubby buys me somthing i like ..omg help him…i throw a paddy specially if its fogey
do you feel less guilty buying somthing on plastic than when buying with cash?
26 August, 2009 at 10:16 am #148888No definately feel more guilty when buying on plastic . .prefer the no cash can’t have rule !
