I always shop at supermarkets. In my experience smaller businesses offer an inferior choice at higher prices. I don’t care about the ‘high street’ and what happens to it, I care about convenience, quality and value for money. And that is what most people care about, which is why the supermarkets have been so successful.

i shop at supermarkets too………..i am annoyed with them though….. they have our custom, they know we will be back every week so i dont see why they should make products smaller and not show a price reflection ……..i shop on a budget and by-pass some branded goods in favour of supermarket’s own……….i have seen branded goods shrink over the years and would like to think the supermarkets weren’t so greedy, but they are.

Perhaps it’s the shelves that are getting bigger.
