Problem with installing updates

i wonder if you could possibly help me with my problem?

i’ve had a router added to the computer today, and now i’m unable to sign into msn because of it – bearing in mind i’m a technophobe, any suggestions would be great.

thank you owen and trapps for the advice, it’s really appreciated :)

at the moment trapps, the router is only connected to my computer and has yet to have the other pc connected.

i did try reloading msn as an already existing user (if that makes sense) but it didnt make any difference. i thought it was the router which was the problem, just because msn worked fine before it was fitted.

i’ve already looked at the help site owen, but i shall look at the one you’ve left for me to see if it’s new to me.

trouble is i’m such a dipstick when it comes to things like this :roll:
