When I try to log in I get an error message

‘JN763 Access rejected from your IP address’

I tried to log in to Forum 1 and 2 but received the same error message
 Thought my IP had been banned so changed it via my provider.

    Any ideas?
Have I been banned from JC
Will I ever get back
Will I get back before the quiz starts on Sunday

IF you feel you have no reason to be banned – Try turning off your computer by the mains, and trying again.

Well it all worked out okay in the end, I missed Sat night in JC but maybe that was a wee blessing :)

Logged in okay tonight without a problem. Managed to get to the quiz okay. Thanks whoever sorted the problem out and thanks for the reply woohooo.

JN 763. ‘Access rejected from your IP address’

Same problem again. Tried all forums, however IP appears to be rejected in all 3 forums.

Just one small thing I noticed…when I’ve previously logged in on return to JC it remembers my name…clever thing computers…however this isn’t happening now. Was at the quiz last night.

Unaware that I’ve breached any kind of rule in the forum. Any ideas??…..anyone???

Wilma, I suspect that the problem is caused by your “Java” cache – which is what remembers your last user name for example. This has occasionally happened to me and my cure is to clean out all the temporary internet files & internet & Java cache (using Window Washer – see above).

This enables me to start over with a clean slate.

The other issue that I’ve come across is where a user fails to “log out” when they leave the chatroom and simply closes their browser. This can cause an issue where the system thinks that you are still logged in and it takes ages and ages for the chatroom software to purge yuor user name from its ‘memory’.

Try sending a PM to Martin as he has the safe keys at present.
