Thinking about some people
6 March, 2006 at 3:05 pm #142396I’m thinking about what the hell I’m going to do today. :-k
I’m also thinking about how much I hate snow – Over 4 inches arrived last night and it’s starting again this morning – Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :x :x :x :x
6 March, 2006 at 3:34 pm #142397I’m going to my friends babies christening on sunday, I’ve never been to one before so dont know what to wear or what to get her, do I get something for the baby, something for her or both??? :-k
6 March, 2006 at 4:05 pm #142398I’ve been to more Christenings that I can count. Normally you’d wear something casual but nice. A nice pair of Khaki’s and a sweater perhaps. As for what to buy the baby, anything really. If you’re not Christian, you can get the baby an outfit or a little book or something. My son received sooooo many rosaries, children’s bibles, statues, etc. Good Luck!
6 March, 2006 at 4:07 pm #142399Thanks for the tip, i’m think black pants and a smart top, gonna have a look for a gift tonight, I dont think they’re particulary religious so il probably get a keepsake (sp?)
6 March, 2006 at 4:09 pm #142400The last christening i went to, the parents wernt very religious, so i bought a nice leather photo album, I had his name and date engraved on the front as a keepsake for his christening.
6 March, 2006 at 4:15 pm #142401Well I have an idea of something. Its like a plaster of paris set so u can make an imprint of the babys hand or foot and then frame it and on the other side you can put a photo in, I think its quite sweet
