Weve all done that PB. Cept I havent got a wife, but ya get my drift.

Well actually, no I don’t ”get your drift”.

Got pi ssed ???……occasionally maybe – but I doubt if many of us have made a lifetime carreer of it.

Beaten up your wife (or partner)??? – emphatically no, not ever!!!

Let’s face it, George Best may have been a talent once upon a time. He lost that when he was in his mid 20’s. Now he is just a hopeless, uncontrollable street drunk lying in the gutter and with a penchant for violently beating up women.

I hate the thought that when he dies shortly, the press weill be full of messages of praise for him and all the wonderful things he did for football etc etc.

I wonder if the women with smashed up faces will see him in quite the same way???

PB…you don’t mince your words do you?…..but you have a point.

Bloody hell I wish the bloke would just hurry up and die. He brought everything upon himself yet I am expected to be crying into my cornflakes each morning? I dont even eat cornflakes. Good God who gives a crap? Not me. Let the git die, get all the tribute documentaries out of the way then lets get back to life without hearing about a drunk moron on life support every bloody day.

Same goes to you too Martin! :o

Although i am really angry that they gave him that liver and he has totally abused it. Well i guess he has well and truely learnt his lesson.

Now pass away with what little dignity you have left.

We can all be compassionate when it,s deserved Owen. How do you think the donors family would feel if they knew their son/daughters liver had gone to George Best? Don,t you think they would be devasted? I know I would.

Sad thing is – if they ever knew – they’d probably feel great about it. You know the sort of thing “Our loved ones’s liver went to the great George Best”. They might even get 5 minutes of fame in the tabloid newspapaers for a big fat cheque.

Bet they don’t stop to think that in reality it went into a drunken wife beater and allowed him a bit more time to carry on drinking himself to death and smashing up even more women.

Won’t be long now – just wait for all the obituaries to say how wonderful he was; all the footy fans to mourn his great talent etc etc; and all the hospital A & E departments to breathe a huge sigh of relief.

And the equally sad thing is PB, your quite right, they probably would.
