I have posted my views on addictions on the Kate Moss thread, so I will try not to repeat myself. I totally agree with Diane. Becoming an addict – to whatever substance – is not something someone chooses objectively. It happens. To see so many people with so little understanding and compassion saddens me.
As Geoff pointed out before, I wonder how many of the self righteous people on here would turn down a transplant for a loved one on the grounds that “he brought it all onto himself”.
They wouldnt would they Lamby, they’d be the ones in the front row screaming about the reasons why they’d be entitled to it.
As I said, my feelings about what he did to his new liver are one thing, but you cant help feeling for the man, and his family members

He was given a 2nd chance, he blew it as far as im concerned. THAT IS MY OPINION and these are message boards. That liver could of gone to someone who was not ADDICTED. Why therefore, give it to someone who has an addiction knowing that they could slip back into old ways???
I rest my caseEmma xx
