I wrote the poem For Love a long time ago, and posted on Valentine’s day in memory of a lovely man.

Times move on.

I deleted it for my own reasons, I don’t like to leave my poems on here for long. Who knows, one day I may get some of them published. I’ll let you know if I do.

I see, I understand, but dont stop sharing them, even if its only for a sneeking glimpse! :wink:

What I like about poems is you can adapt them to mean something to yourself even though the meaning to the author is something completely different. 8)

the nights are cold as winter creeps in
everything that was once shiny and new
dissapears, slowly, and without a trace
the days grow shorter and darkness falls
and yet
a few months on hope is renewed
as light chases dark on its way
i see the evidence of the world waking up
those tell tale shoots, they give me such hope
of a world that finally after long dark days
will explode with colour and life will change
change for the better for with spring comes hope
for me anyways , for you? who knows…….
