why do we say we are sorry
should we just shut up and not worry
bout the hurt we caused when harsh words said

by word of mouth, by phone by letter
and do we reall care bout the harsh words said

do we say it cos we know we did hurt the feelings of someone close
or to dampen down the situation thats now too close
to hurting us back and we are filled with fear and dread

when you say sorry do you really mean
im sorry my friend i wouldnt dream
of hurting you so badly with malice or intention
or are they words just to get some attention?

its cold and lonely sometimes out here
wen youve no one to hug or even hold dear
that someone who is there just for you
i like being a person who’s one of two

the one who is there for you when you come home
no matter how far no matter where you roam
he or she is waiting for you

waiting for them to turn there key in the door
after a hard days work who would want more
than the kiss and the hug thats there just for you

alas for the time being its just not meant to be

i have a meeting with my boss in the morning
he called it tonite and gave me no warning
now will i sleep or will i toss an turn
wondering if his words tommorow will scathe and burn
but you know what he cannot take away
my spirit that will stay with me night or day

in this place where night replaces day
where loves dies and hate mulitplies
and sanity jumps out of the path of madness
where friendships form on words alone
where faith stops believing and cynicism thrives
where dreams are replaced by nightmares
and lust speaks with the written word
where jealousy and paranoia reign supreme
where life is forgotten for a short space of time
where truth becomes lies and versions in between
and the few become many as the rest wait in line
we all struggle to survive in this place.

I feeling kinda blue today

but dont get me wrong its just human emotion
and I dont intend to cause a commotion.

I shouldnt really be feeling this way
I do have more than most around today
I have my girls who I adore
I suppose I shouldn’t be sad cos who would want more
I guess i do is the answer
someone fer me to love just him and her
Why is it so hard to find someone true
who takes you as you and doesnt misconstrue
your personanility which just wants to love

cos beleive me my freind I am definately here.
