Who are you to judge me,
Based on the way I look,
Do you always judge a story,
By the cover of the book?Who are you to judge me,
By the way I dress and what I wear?
Who are you to judge me,
By the way I wear my hair?Who are you to judge me,
By the things you imagine I do?
When you don’t bother to figure out for sure,
What exactly is or isn’t true…That’s my point,
You’re no one at all,
You judge me for one reason,
So you can feel tall…You judge me because you want to,
And because it makes you feel better inside,
Because my imperfections aren’t yours,
But your flaws won’t always hide…I’m my own judge,
And you’re your own too,
So judge yourself,
And the things that you do…Because I’m tired of being judged,
By people who think they know me,
Who refuse to judge themselves,
Because they aren’t as perfect as they could be…13 January, 2010 at 5:19 am #306865You make your moves
Do you what have to do
win their heart and more
take it all and score
When you’ve had enough
And it gets too tough
Ditch the crew
And gain a few
They think they have your trust
And their love is a must
Really you see them all the same
Confuse each others names
Treat them with no regrets
Smoke them all like cigarettes
Keep it all well hidden
Like a secret so forbidden
Through all the desperate attempts and tries
to win me, I see all the lies
Although, in the end I am afraid
That I’m the one thats being played

very evocative and I know exactly what you mean :)
13 January, 2010 at 8:56 pm #306867Our Place
It`s time to take me in your arms
You make me fee so warm and calm,
Then we`l go to our private place,
Where I find such peace within your face.Let`s take our time and close our eyes,
We`ll drift like clouds up in the sky.
Our souls will join, our thoughs go free,
Like songs from birds up in the trees. When the sun`s gone down and it`s time to go,
Tears ARE there but I won`t et them show,
For Ill miss you till next time round,
When we`ll hold together and leave the ground.19 February, 2010 at 6:44 pm #306868Abysmal
Cold dark waters
Close over my head
Tree reflections ripple
I can hear my heart beatLights go out one by one
Stillness swamps me
Shadows hover out of sight
But my heart still beatsHope a gossamer memory
Drifts leaf-like in sluggish currents
And the rain damp soil heavy with desire
Clogs my thoughtsToo far down
Blood motionless
The last breath drifts upwards
A cascade of heart beats silenced. In hostage to the abyss.

3 July, 2010 at 5:23 am #306871I’ve seen the good I’ve seen the bad
I’ve seen the times that make me sad
I’ve been through times when I have wept
And cried and cried until I’ve sleptSome times this life it feels so hard
When you’ve been dealt a wounding card
Lift your head and hold it high
Look past the clouds into the skyFall in love with who you are
Inside you’ll be a shining star
There’s no set rules we have to follow
And life’s much more than guilt and sorrowLong and twisty is lifes’ path
So let’s enjoy and have a laugh
Live the dream and breath the air
Don’t give a damn . . give love and careLife can be a funny game
And no two days are quite the same
Don’t be bound by myths and rules
The sheep that follow . . they’re the fools !13 July, 2010 at 3:46 pm #306872Silent screaming
words streaming.
Lips moving
nothing proving.
Endless chatter,
empty matter.
Heart not beating,
death by meeting17 August, 2010 at 3:21 pm #306873Well, what is this?
What am I coming to?
And beyond that, what am I gonna do?
Now there’s blankness
Where once your eyes held light
But that was so long ago
That was last nightWell, what is this?
What’s that sound I hear?
It’s just my lifetime
It’s whistling past my ear
And when I look back
Everything seems smaller than life
The way it’s been for so long
Since last nightNow I am leaving
Any moment I’ll be gone
I think you’ll notice
I think you’ll wonder what went wrong
I’m not chosing
But I’m running out of fight
And this was decided long ago
It was last night . . . -
